Pacific Ring Sports hosted the 2009 U.S. Men's and Women's Regional Boxing Championships on Saturday, May 16th, 2009.  Winners of this event went on to the USA Boxing National Championships in Denver, Colorado in June.  The best amateur boxers from San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, and other Northern California cities competed for their chance to make it to the 2012 Olympics.  Pacific Ring Sports was very excited to host this very important event for amateur boxers in California and hopes to continue to attract events such as this one to the Oakland neighborhood.
