Congratulations to Pacific Ring Sports’ boxers, CJ Mills and Jan Pfenninger, who won their bouts at the 4th installment of “Showdown in Oakland,” last Saturday, October 29th. Thirty-six competitors squared off from local gyms such as Kings, Oakland Boxing, Ring of Fire, and Richmond Police Athletics League (PAL); as well as gyms from Sacramento, including Grimz Gym and Newcastle Ringside.

On Oct 1, Robert flew to Mississippi to join the team of undefeated Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield (15-0-1, 9KOs) in his quest to defeat two-time Olympian Patrick Lopez (20-5, 12KOs) for the NABO Jr. Welterweight Title. Living up to his moniker, the “Hard Hitta” power punched Lopez to the floor three times and won by unanimous decision. PRS Fighters Orin Moran, Andrew Capurro, and Jennifer Tung came to win tonight at the IKF Muay Thai Championships tonight in Sacramento, CA. All won their bouts by unanimous decision. Both Orin and Andrew looked strong and solid, regardless that they normally fight at lower weights. Jennifer has been training with Coach Ganyao Arunleung, and we are pleased to welcome her on the PRS team.
