Our MMA combines all the Martial Arts we teach at Pacific Ring Sports – Muay Thai, Boxing, and Jiu-Jitsu. We also cover elements of Wrestling and Judo. Many gyms throw it all together, without having mastery of any one art. Because of our head trainers’ combined experience of over 100 years, our MMA stands out. We try to instill in our members the fundamentals before putting it all together. With the popularity of Ultimate Fighting Championship and Pride Fighting Championships, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a competitive sport many want to learn.
This 1.5 hour class begins with warm-up which includes calisthenics and MMA drills. After warm-up you will pair up with a partner and practice the technique of the day. The last portion of the class is spent on sparring. Board shorts, rash guard, and sparring gear are required. As this is an advanced class, at least six months of experience or invitation from a trainer is required.
