Michael Regnier - Owner & Trainer

Michael Regnier is the owner and Head Muay Thai Trainer of Pacific Ring Sports.  His 25-year career in Martial Arts started at the age of ten.  He received black belts in Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Southern Kung Fu, Northern Kung Fu, and Wing Chung.  As a teenager, he had several fights on ESPN2, and was the first American to be certified as a Muay Thai Fairtex trainer through the late Alex Gong and Michael’s trainer, Ganyao “Dr. Knee” Fairtex.  Looking to fight full Muay Thai rules with elbows and knees, he fought for B. John Promotions in the US, winning the California Cruiserweight Title.  Michael also lived and fought in Thailand for several years.  He went up to super heavy weight, to compete in the K-1.  He has trained many Muay Thai fighters and UFC fighters such as Dean Lister and Brandon Vera.  Michael is also Krav Maga certified. Ganyao Arunleung - Head Muay Thai Trainer

For over 30 years, Ganyao “Dr. Knee” Arunleung has been a driving force behind the famous Fairtex Muay Thai camps in Thailand and USA.  The closing of the Fairtex San Francisco camp in August 2011 ended an era of “Fairtex” as we once knew it.  However, the legendary training lives on, when the former Head Muay Thai Trainer, Ganyao “Dr. Knee,” chose Pacific Ring Sports to be his new home.  This was perhaps the hottest news in the Muay Thai community in the US in 2011 and marked the beginning of a new era.

Ganyao is the trainer of three Lumphini Stadium Champions, over ten World Champions, and numerous top fighters.  Among them:  Bunkerd Faphimai, Alex Gong, Jongsanan “Woodenman”, Royce Gracie, Enn Fairtex, George Tsutsui, Chuck Liddell, Scott Smith, Jean Claude Leuyer, James Irvin, Amanda Lucas, Tim McKenzie, and Eduardo Maiorino.  He was the expert coach for 16 athletes from across North America on “The Ultimate Fighter”, a reality-based television series on Spike TV in 2005.  Read Ganyao's Bio.


Rob Prakhantree - Head Muay Thai Trainer

Saiyan Prakhantree, known to friends as “Rob,” is the Head Muay Thai trainer at Pacific Ring Sports. He is a former Pro Muay Thai and MMA fighter, ranked #9 at the renowned Lumpinee Stadium and Muay Thai Champion at Thepprasit Stadium.  He has achieved immense status in his career, amassing 175 Pro Muay Thai fights and three Pro MMA fights.  He also has 24 amateur Western boxing fights under his belt.

Rob was born in Nong Khai, a city in Northeastern Thailand on the border of Laos, but grew up in Ban Phue in the province of Udon Thani. Rob first saw Muay Thai on TV when he was four years old, and went to see live fights near his home at this tender age.  Read more


Joseph Monroe - Jiu Jitsu Trainer

Joe Monroe is the Jiu-Jitsu Instructor at Pacific Ring Sports.  He attained his Blackbelt under Bryant Pangelinan, the Head Instructor of Sabre Jiu Jitsu Academy.  Joe’s Jiu Jitsu journey started back in 2007 when, by chance, he agreed to go with a buddy to try out a Jiu Jitsu class. After being submitted more than he could count, Joe decided he would sign up for classes. Joe has competed and won local Jiu Jitsu tournaments. Over the last few years, Joe has directed his focus on training the self-defense and teaching aspects of Jiu Jitsu. Joe was promoted to Blackbelt as a member of Elite Team Eastbay by Head Instructor Tom Knox.  Read more


Markshaun Fields - Boxing Trainer

Markshaun Fields is a Boxing Trainer at Pacific Ring Sports.  He is a Golden Gloves Champion and USA NorCal Boxing Champion with an impressive record of 21 wins and 1 controversial loss.  He started at Pacific Ring Sports 13 years ago with his trainer, Roberto Garcia.  After attending a boxing event and seeing a family member lose bad, he thought, “I can do this. I was looking for a workout already that demanded internal and mental fortitude, which would keep me accountable. The discipline required, the individual competitiveness, the mental focus, physical conditioning and diet awareness are all life applicable concept that attracted me ever since.” Read more


CJ Mills - Assistant Boxing Trainer

CJ Mills is an Assistant Boxing Trainer at Pacific Ring Sports. CJ played baseball competitively for several years after college.    He also coaches at the club and High School levels as well as privately works with athletes at training camps.  He currently fights amateur boxing events throughout the bay area.  In 2011, CJ became a California Regional Golden Gloves Champion.  Read more


Diana Moskowitz - Strength & Conditioning Trainer

Diana is a TRX/Strength and Conditioning Trainer at Pacific Ring Sports.  She is TRX® Certified, Russian Kettle Bell Certified, and ACE Certified.  In addition, she is a licensed Massage Therapist and a registered Dietician.  She has been a trainer for 15 years at numerous gyms throughout Baltimore and the San Francisco Bay Area teaching fitness boot camps, Yoga, TRX®, weight lifting, strength and conditioning, as well as works as a dietician and nutrition coach.  Read more


Shalon Leimpeter - Assistant Trainer

Shalon is an Assistant Trainer at Pacific Ring Sports.  She was born and raised in the Bay Area, studying dance and playing sports from age four through high school, including being a middle blocker/hitter on a two-year league champion volleyball team. Shalon went on to represent PRS as one the first female fighters and won her first smoker in 2007.  She is a kind, patient, and detail-oriented trainer.  Read more
